Since the introduction of e-mail people are not using standard mail very often. They prefer writing emails to each other as it is faster and what is also very important - cheaper. You don´t have to pay for it (of course you pay for the internet once a month but it is still profitable) and you can write such letter anytime you want. Additionally your recipient will receive it almost immediately so it is good if you want to share something very fast. I have noticed that I am receiving lots of emails and almost no traditional letters whatsoever,. Even most of the companies I cooperate with write emails to me instead of standard letter. Only my bank sometimes sends me some new information. Recently I have received a letter though. It looked a bit strange and inside I have found info that they are offering me a new bathroom. It turned out that the letter was sent by a company producing bathrooms. It was just an advertisement. Still it was surprising because it would be cheaper for them to send email. On the other hand I wouldn´t probably read the email and as you can see I have opened the traditional letter. I don´t need new bathroom so I won´t respond to it probably. What do you think about it?
